Reminder to Bus Parents:  If you child needs service for this school year, please complete the registration form and email to [email protected] or stop by the board office. Please note all students must re-register for the bus service each new school year. Riding the bus last year does not automatically guarantee a spot for this year.

Join us on Thursday, September 17th for our Meet the Staff Night from 4:30 - 5:30pm! A hot dog supper begins in the gym starting at 4:30 p.m. while Mrs. Wolfe, our principal, shares some important school information.

Afterward, families are invited to head to the classrooms for a come-and-go Meet the Teacher time. This is a great chance to connect with your child’s teachers and see where all the learning happens!

Our soccer season is quickly coming to an end.  The LOCCSD tournament will be held on Thursday, October 16th at Centennial Field (not Holy Family). Boys will have their first game at 1:30pm and girls at 1:15pm.  Please consider coming out and cheering on our St. Mary Cougars!!

School pictures should now have made their way home with your child.

If you wish to place an order through the school, please ensure that order form and payment is returned to the office by November 3rd.  Families wanting retakes are asked to let your child’s teacher or the office know.

Retake Day: Tuesday, November 18th!

This year, Halloween falls on a Friday. Students are invited to wear their costumes or orange and black clothing on that day. There will be two Halloween dances in the afternoon for students; one for grades K-3 and one for grades 4-7. There will be a costume parade at 2:30 where parents and guardians are invited to attend. Our pre-kindergarten classes will be celebrating on Wednesday and Thursday of this week for their respective days.

Please ensure your child follows the following guidelines when dressing up for Halloween as we wish for this to be a young school friendly Halloween.

-No masks can be worn

-No blood or gory makeup

-No weapon props of any kind (ie: swords, guns, knives, throwing stars, etc.)

-No scary clowns of any kind

-No graphic or scary images on clothing

-Also, remind your child when picking out their costumes that they still need to be able to sit in a desk and work.

-Costumes should still follow our dress code policy

If you are concerned that your child will not bring back all parts of their costume for the evening trick-or-treating, please consider wearing orange and black clothing for school and not a costume. Teachers will try their best, but they cannot guarantee all items will make it home that exact day.
